Privacy Policy

This policy explains what EmergeStack, LLC collects when you use HireWire, why, who else sees it, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address and the business details you enter during onboarding.
• Company Brain documents: the files you upload to train your team, and the text extracted from them.
• Work content: assignments, briefs, chat messages, deliverables, house rules, and the feedback you give your specialists.
• Phone data: audio, transcripts, and metadata for calls handled by your AI receptionist, including your callers' phone numbers and anything they say.
• Connected account data: if you connect Gmail, Outlook, or a calendar, the messages and events your specialists read to do the work you asked for.
• Usage data: work hours, phone minutes, lead lookups, and images consumed, so we can meter your plan.
• Payment details: handled by Stripe. Card numbers go to Stripe directly and we never see or store them.

A note about your callers

When someone calls your business line, we process their voice and phone number on your behalf. They are your caller, not our customer. You are responsible for telling them what they need to be told and for complying with recording-consent laws where you and they are located.

Why we process it

To run the service you are paying for: generating your deliverables, answering your phone, retrieving your company knowledge, metering your plan, billing you, and providing support. We also use aggregate, non-identifying operational data to keep the service reliable.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your content to train our own AI models.

Who else sees it

Running this service means sending data to specialist providers. These are the only categories of third party that receive it:

• Anthropic: Runs the language model behind your specialists' writing and reasoning
• OpenAI: Generates agent voices and images
• Supabase: Database, file storage, and authentication
• Netlify: Web hosting
• Stripe: Payment processing (card details go to Stripe, never to us)
• Vapi: Powers Quinn's phone line, including call audio and transcripts
• People Data Labs: Supplies business contact records for lead searches
• Composio: Broker for connecting your own Gmail, Outlook, or calendar accounts

We may also disclose data if legally required, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. If the business is ever sold, data may transfer as part of that, and you would be told.

Google user data

If you connect a Google account, our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We request read access to search your inbox and calendar, and draft-creation access only where you have chosen it. The service is built to create drafts for you to send, not to send email as you. You can revoke access at any time from your dashboard or from your Google account settings.

How long we keep it

We keep your content while your account is active. When you delete your organisation, its agents, documents, tasks, messages, and connections are deleted with it. Backups and billing records required for tax and accounting purposes persist for a limited period after that. You can ask us to delete your data sooner by emailing us.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest with our infrastructure providers, and each customer organisation is isolated at the database level so one customer cannot read another's content. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what is collected, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under the CCPA. To exercise any of this, email support@emergestack.dev.

Children

The service is for businesses. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy materially we will update the effective date above and notify you by email or in the product.
